Pastor Elijah Whitecar faithfully served as the Youth Pastor of Mountain Valley Baptist Church for five years. During that time, he and his wife, Sairah, were actively involved in teaching multiple Sunday School classes, leading a Sunday School bus route, soulwinning, and joyfully participating in many other areas of church ministry.
In 2025, the Lord led our former pastor to plant a church in Chicago as an extension ministry of Mountain Valley Baptist Church. Following this transition, Pastor Elijah was prayerfully called by the church to become our next pastor. On May 18th, 2025, Pastor Elijah and his family gladly accepted this calling, and they have been honored and excited to serve the Lord and our church family ever since.
